Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) run by the government of Saskatchewan, is a collection of immigration streams that include the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker category. Three immigration streams under the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker program are aimed toward foreign nationals with professional job experience who can fill certain labor market vacancies in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker includes the following streams:

  1. Saskatchewan Express Entry
  2. Saskatchewan Employment Offer
  3. Saskatchewan In-Demand Occupation

Successful candidates will be given an official provincial nomination from Saskatchewan if they are selected through one of these Saskatchewan streams. Candidates become eligible to apply for Canadian permanent resident status after receiving a provincial nomination. Please be aware that candidates must receive at least 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid in order to be considered for any of these streams.

  1. Saskatchewan Express Entry

A stream of Saskatchewan International Skilled Workers called Saskatchewan Express Entry focuses on foreign employees who have active Express Entry profiles in Canada. The applicant must have at least one year of experience in a NOC level "A," "B," or "0" occupation in order to be eligible for this stream. If the experience was gained while working in one of the professions on the SINP Excluded Occupations List, it will not be considered eligible. A minimum of 60 points must also be obtained on the SINP Points Assessment Grid by the applicant.

  1. Saskatchewan Employment Offer

Foreign employees who have legitimate job offers from Saskatchewan firms are the focus of the Saskatchewan Employment Offer stream of the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker website. The applicant must meet specific standards for work experience and must receive at least 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid in order to be considered.

  1. Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand

A branch of Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker called Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand recruits international workers with experience in particular occupations. The candidate must meet the requirements and have at least one year of experience in a NOC level "A," "B," or "0" occupation. If the occupation is on the SINP Excluded Occupations List, it will not be eligible. A minimum of 60 points on the SINP Points Assessment Grid must also be claimed by the applicant.
